Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Borealis may participate in affiliate programs. If you click an affiliate link on this site and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer — at no additional cost to you.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is an ordinary link to a retailer or manufacturer with a tracking code attached. If you click it and make a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays the website a commission. The price you pay is the same as it would be without the link.
Where Borealis stands today
Borealis is not currently an approved affiliate of any retailer, and no affiliate links are active on this site today. The relationship we plan to pursue is with Best Buy Canada; if and when an application is accepted and approved, affiliate links may be added and this page will be updated. Until then, links to retailer listings are ordinary links and we earn nothing from them.
How affiliate relationships may affect what we link to
Affiliate relationships may influence which retailers and products we link to — for example, whether a link points to one retailer rather than another. They do not change what we recommend: recommendations come from our research into specifications, features, and suitability, not from commission rates. If a product we think is a good fit is not available through any affiliate program, we still recommend it and link to where Canadian shoppers can buy it.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. A purchase made through an affiliate link costs the same as a purchase made without one. We do not charge readers, and we do not add anything to the price you pay the retailer.
Pricing and availability are the retailer's
Prices shown on this site are in Canadian dollars where a Canadian price is available, and were accurate at the time of publication. Prices, sales, and stock are controlled by the retailer and change frequently. Always verify the current price and availability on the retailer's own listing before buying.
Independence
Borealis is an independent website. Best Buy, Amazon, and the other retailers and manufacturers named on this site do not sponsor, endorse, or operate Borealis, and we are not affiliated with them. Retailers are named only to point Canadian shoppers toward where a product can be bought.
Your responsibility
We publish buying information; we do not sell products and we do not process transactions. Any purchase you make is made directly with the retailer and is subject to that retailer's terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies.
